On Friday night just outside of

Lansing and only a short ride from West Jefferson and Boone, North Carolina, you can be part of an old time music jam. The jam is held each Friday and the venue is mountain string music
including Bluegrass. All ages and skill levels are welcome as dancers are too. And if you don't pick, just stop in andlisten. The jam has free admission and donations are welcome for the
upkeep. The Phipps Store has been mentioned or featured in The Old Time Herald, The High Country Magazine, The Mountain Times, Carolina Country, and The Jefferson Post.
